Village Impact Project
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our community did such a great job at support & prevention that Safe Place was not needed anymore? That is our heart and hope for the future.
Welcome to the Village Impact Project.
The Village Impact Project team has been reaching out to families and service providers in our area, building an even stronger connection to our community. This will allow us to help & support many children and families before situations escalate to the point of children being abused, neglected or in situations where their basic needs are not met. We have some great field trips coming up for foster and local children (and their families when possible). The Fifth Ave Theater, Rock Climbing Classes, Snow Shoeing, Seattle Art Museum and The Experience Music Project to name a few. We also have a weekly community clothing exchange and an emergency food program for families in crisis.
Moving forward, do you have connections or skills you can share with kids? Do you paint, hike or love to cook? Maybe sports tickets you would like to donate to foster or homeless children?
Let’s see how we can work together to build relationships with children and families in poverty.
Let us know if you would like to join in this effort! If interested, you can contact Angela at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you & God Bless!
